Happy New Year, l think most of us are here so l shall begin.
Im back from long night out hope you all had good time. I did but Kept thinking back to the tsunami disaster when we were having fun... The sheer numbers of dead people are just staggering. I've never known anything like this.
When I watched the towers fall on live TV with my eyes overflowing, reporters talked of mabe two thousand people being killed. THOUSAND! Fuck I thought thats alot of people. Do I know a thousand people? More people than I have knowen in my life have just died in front of me?
That's alot to take in. give me a minute. But twice that.
The day of the tsunami they were talking of ten thousand. Around the dinner table we talked about this huge number. "10,000? unbelievable"
Tonight I see 125,000 dead. Im way out of my imaginative depths here. what does that look like. A huge stadium full of people sudenly gone. Only there bodies must be litering thier streets spreding disease to there families and friends.
