There's a great audio piece called "Competitive Sluts" that covers a lot of territory, from Betty's early art school days to her year-long art and sex project with Grant (and the exhibition it produced) to cultural reasons for gender behavior today. Well worth a listen. Not many 80 year olds like her.
Oh, boy - another week of intense work ahead. I've turned the corner with my attitude, though, and I'm almost enjoying the the chaos and changes. Part of really thrives on pure strangeness.
Lots to do. Eight reviews owed and only started on three of them. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to dis someone whose work I used to really like. Trouble is, I have this stubborn streak about being honest - always getting me into trouble. Honesty, such a lonely word....... (Thank you Billy Joel).
