Tuesday evening rolls around and I am so wrapped up in all the planning I have to do for a major move at "day job" that I feel like a zombie. (Or, Zombie Woof, as Zappa would say.) Overdose of SG-1 episodes doesn't exactly ground me, either. Maybe some Tony Levin band stuff will help.......(Peter Gunn - VERY cool! Mancini wrote one of the best riffs ever with that one.)
Some great new sets from some gorgeous SGs, hard to keep up sometimes. Can't tell you how it warms the heart of this old fart to see so many headstrong young women determined to be themselves, and not afraid to be downright nasty. Sweet.
Just watched Cecil B. Demented - pretty medium, but I loved Maggie Gyllenhaal's makeup and outfit at the end. She's pretty cool anyway - loved Secretary.
One fun thing - learned a polite way to say "Cluster Fuck," (something that comes up a LOT on this planet) - military slang - "Charlie Foxtrot." I may use that as a character in a story, too. As a writer, I love to play with words, and slang or dialects are especially fun. (Yes, I do read the dictionary for fun.....)
Ahh, the music really helps - opens the old heart chakra right up.....
With the smell of Viki's cupcakes wafting through my tangled mind, I send Love and Light to all you sweet SG critters. Going to float off on some heavy bass vibes and touch the sky...
