it's my second day of elective unemployment - feels good.

i'd originally planned to take the first week off but it's not working out that way. it's fun to do stuff when you want to so i've managed to check some major shit off my todo list.

two words: free will

i've finally started my own gig after putting it off for years. if i let myself think about it too much i start to freak. i've got to keep casually focused on a few things at a time and maintain my positive mental attitude or it'll never work.

i have no definite income and i haven't saved a dime. if i don't come up with a way to make a crapload of money really fast things are gonna get difficult...

whatever. things have a way of working out. or not. we'll see.

i got the wood today to build my new workstation. fuck all that overpriced crap office furniture. i'm building a raw custom setup for four computers, 6 monitors, two turntables, sound system and a little conference table. tomorrow the next step in my new endeavor is gonna smell like freshly cut wood.

that is, whenever i wake up 'cause i'm not setting the alarm. heh.
