quit my job today! whoo hoo!
i did the right thing and put in my two-weeks notice so i still have to endure 10 more calendar days here but i'm not burning any bridges.
i'm going to be doing a lot of snowboarding in february. my friend has a cabin in tahoe so i think i'll get a bunch of booze, stay there all week and ride every day. i've been too busy work to use my season pass at all. yesterday was my first day of the season and now i get to make up for lost time.
as far as jobs go, mine wasn't too bad. some people might actually consider it a dream job. but no matter what it is, going to work sucks. so now i'm going to freelance and work from home.
my plan is to work for three months at a time and travel for two weeks. that'd be two months of vacation a year. i'll also give myself snowboarding days in the winter and wakeboarding days in the summer... it should add up to at least 3 months off altogether. heh.
it's the year of the monkey, time to take risks for future success.
