i got a shiny new red bike for xmas tonight...
yup. a kick ass new schwinn panther. it's a cruiser and it's hella sweet. when we got home tonight i took it for a spin around the block. it's all rainy and wet outside so i took the corners carefully.
the coolest thing though... i turn 33 on tuesday and tonight i got a new bike for xmas - complete with a big red bow... if i had been in my pj's and all sleepy and about 20 years younger i would've felt exactly the same!
getting older is fucking great. i have more responsibility, make more money, have figured out more stuff, suffered innumerable triumphs and immeasurable tragedy... and i'm just getting started.
the one thing i know for fucking certain: change is constant...

I totally know what you mean about getting older-I do wish I could always look like this though-I don't mind the other stuff that comes with age, but that kinda worries me.
Change is constant-so true. That was my mantra for a while-now I don't have to think about it- it's just KNOWN.
Anyway, I've gotta go see what else is up here and I've only got an hour break-later!
