jiminy goddamned christmas, it's december already... and, as always, it's my birthday this month.

i will be a grand ole tirty tree. that's 33 in numerals.

i haveta say that i don't feel anymuch older. i have yet to turn into the 'adult' that i always had a distinct distaste for.

whatever... if time is relative, then age is subjective. or something like that.

it's been a crappy year and i'm generally a 'half-full' optimist type. it's not hard to admit that this year sucked more than it didn't. i had fun for sure, but more often than not it was a draining, difficult, dag nasty fucking cycle of the earth 'round the sun.

maybe next year will be better... or maybe worse. it's no solace that it's darkest before the dawn. but i know that if things get bad enough, relief is on its way. problem is, you never know how dark things can get 'til the dawn saves you.
