i had a dream last night that it was friday. i got all excited only to wake up to thursday.
i'm not happy about wishing away the best days of my life. work sucks. if it weren't for the money i'd sure as hell be doing something else! it pains me to think that out of 24 hours each day i spend 8 or 9 sleeping (i like getting my sleep), an hour in the morning getting breakfast and ready for work, 8 or 9 hours working, an hour for lunch that's off the clock, an hour commuting... that leaves about 4 hours to live. not enough.
i gotta get rich and retire. soon!
my job isn't too bad as far as jobs go. the biggest drawback are the hours. i've gotta clock in 8 per day and i have to clock out for lunch which makes it a 9 hour day. of course, the boss usually has some dumbass reason to keep me here an extra hour so it's at least a 10 hour day. i gotta clock in even though i'm on salary because he can be an overtly controlling maniac. but he's a rich maniac and i can make a lot of money working for him. and this job is the closest thing to job security i can have in my industry at this point in time...

yeah, i love travel... have been in 37 of the States & both sides of Canada, now that i'm here i'm working on hitting as much of this hemisphere as possible during my time.
i love seeing the differences, the similarities, the landscapes, the people, you name it. it's gonna be a busy summer.
