I might be able to get this sweet promotion soon. I was asking my boss about it a few days ago since the guy working the job is leaving soon. When I came into work today one of the guys who is good friends with my boss said "congrats man, I'm proud of you". Once I asked him why he said "oh no one told you? Guess you will find out soon", then I couldn't get anything else out of him. My boss was out of the office today so hopefully I'll hear Monday. The new job would pay a decent amount more, be right in line with where I want to go careerwise and is remote. I'd only have to travel in to my desk at the office if I want to. One thing I will miss a lot is having a really active, loud team around me to joke around with. Working from the home is probably going to suck socially. I normally only hang out with friend on the weekend, so I suppose I'd have to find some things to do with people on a weekday every once in awhile.

Valentine's Day is coming up. It's funny watching single people all scramble around trying to get a date just to have one. I think I just might stay in for the night and buy a movie. I started talking to this girl recently who seems really cool, but if I'm going to ask her out I might just wait until the holiday is over to avoid all the junk that goes along with it. She works on Saturdays anyway, so I guess that works

Lacuna Coil is coming around in April and then Opeth in May. Finally some shows to go see
