1 week in spain later and I have to say I'm hurting,
Wristbands that = free drink + entry to all night clubs = Poorly me
Calellafest was my first adventure/expedition of the year and I have to say it was full of alot of ups and downs for a 7 day stint.
Day 1-2 + 6-7 were spent travelling down from sunny Sheffield to Calella by coach...ouch
Evening of day 2 was army forces themed, which involved alot of camo paint...fear I looked a little scary but nevermind.
Day 3 was the first day of hockey, to say it was casualwould be the understatement of the year, keepers taking out players, cricket/baseball stlye shots and mad areial shots seems to be the tip of the iceburg. Evening was a slumberparty, doning out best PJ's; please note that they are not suitable attire for a foam party :S
Day 4 was the last day of hockey, in which, WE, SHEFFIELD UNI, won both the shield and the cup, more by luck than tallent, Most unis had 1 team only and therefore struggled to get them all there in a fit state. Hence why are having 3 squads worth of players worked to our advantage, hehe. The evening was a geek social...this took very very very little effort for me
Day 5 was a FREE day, sooo I chose to take this to mean a bed day as I was suffering my own silly drinking habbits and low imune system...soo yeah, it was good...and the older boys didn't shave my head! YAY!
Anyway, time for food and shower and sleep.
Hope all is well with you guys.
