Tell us about a time you met an internet friend in person?
Has anyone hear used Meetme? Well before it became Meetme it was Myyearbook.
I periodically still get on this site but not too often. I mainly use it just to find people to talk to and if we meet we meet and if not no biggie. With that being said I’ve been on this site for over 10years now so I’ve actually met quite a few people off it.
The 1st person I met was Logan. We talked off/on and eventually met in person after about 4 years. We went to the movies. I don’t remember what we saw but I’m sure it was something Marvel. It’s his favorite. We ended up dating for 6 months before breaking it off. It just wasn’t our time. A few years later we ran into each other again and a couple years later we tried again. However we weren’t seeing eye to eye on our goals and paths to achieving them. So we broke up. 🤷🏻♀️
The 2nd person I met was Chrissy. She was a cool chick that actually didn’t live far from me. Like 5 miles. It took probably 5years to meet and once we did we were inseparable for a couple years. It’s funny because us meeting in person was because I was throwing a party and realized I had very few in person female friends. Eventually we drifted apart.
During the summer of partying I ended up meeting ALOT of people I had talked to off Meetme. Mainly because they ended up being friends of friends.
I know I didn’t go too much in depth about these meetings partly because I don’t remember a lot about them. 10 years is a long time plus a lot of alcohol has been had.
Now I feel like I talk to TONS of people online just off Facebook. Models, photographers, MUA and anybody that wants to collab. Some have turned into amazing friends and acquaintances.
