i said hot damn! the dwarves/ real mckenzies show rocked my socks. my day had started out kinda on the shitty tip, but all was well as soon as i had my gin and the real mckenzies took stage. thanks to jaime for giving me his beer (i wonder if missy and i are still both 2 and 3? hahaha!) and matt macnasty for the convo... those guys are fucking rad. i was pretty much up in the front portion of the stage the whole show, so needless to say, my ribs are tender. most random thing happened... i lost one of my earrings (my black scull talons) and i was running around like a chicken with my head cut off looking for it. then this fellow comes up to me and is like "i found this...i think it is yours". in the humble words of the virgin mary, "come again"? i couldn't fucking believe it! consider the scenerio... broken glass, beer spilled everywhere, punk rockers everywhere, berbatis packed so full you couldn't breath without offending someone...AND HE FOUND MY FUCKING EARRING!

on a side note, for this being a "rock show", people were so damn nice. i got smoked pot in the bathroom , bought drinks (since all my funds went into gas money for eugene... god i hate not being able to purchase my own beverages), met tons of rad people who's names shall escape me until we meet again, etc. etc.

the dwarves put on an excellent show as always! i went nuts when "over you" was played, and by the way i was crushed in the front, so did the rest of the crowd. its awesome that thier bassist is a fan of the site... i guess its kinda strange about how much noteriety the site is getting. suicide girls are taking over the world. mwahahahaha.

good to see missy, veronica, sara, anais, and jetta at the show; penelope at the bar; people i hadn't seen in ages wreaking havoc on the merry streets of portland.
