last night was absolutely wonderful and this mornig has been completely bittersweet...

elara and i went to hawthorne so i could pick up a birthday present for a friend. we ate ice cream and burritos and walked around in the sun.

we then went to see our friends band (morse code heart beat) play at a house in NE. all the kids at the show were really cool and friendly. this fellow had a great dane that was, and i shit you not, as tall as i am.
he was so beautiful (the dog, not the guy). the boys played really well and the crowd was feeling the metal.

i then went to the satyricon and watched poison idea and freak show rodeo. good show and even better crowd. i ran into anais at fellinis and she shared her yummy pasta with me. she is such a doll.

today has been kinda bunk. i think i hurt someone i really care about, so i am not really in the mood to go out or anything. i think i'll just stay home... play with nancy, draw, write, nurse my sunburn, clean, and finish reading my book.
