A good friend of mine had very little pain and healed after just weeks. I on the other hand passed out from the pain after the second one and took about a year to heal. But I have VERY tempermental and sensitive skin. So it varies alot. Mine still need to be handled with a little care, but they are very pleasant and disspite the difficulties I'm trememdously pleased I got them. I'd probably do it again.
