Just before Christmas I submitted my first set of pictures to Suicide Girls.
Hey, I know all you SGers want to see a plethora of pictures of lil ol me in the buff (blush) and I will be most happy to oblige. YES, YES and double YES, I WANT to be a real Suicide Girl!
Late yesterday afternoon Laura from Suicide Girls emailed me to let me know that my first set was REJECTED!
No, the world didnt end, the sun didnt stop shining and the flowers didnt stop blooming but I did feel rather REJECTED for about 30 seconds.
REJECTED! now thats such a finite word. Its up there with words like death and taxes. Its the kind of word you never want to hear but deep down in your heart you know that you are going to be REJECTED! every once in a while thats part of life and it makes being accepted so much more fun.
Right now I have a song stuck in my head (dont you just hate it when that happens?) complete with a movie clip yet. Close your eyes and picture this in your head, a clip from the movie The Blues Brothers with Aretha Franklin singing REJECTED!
Now, hows that for silly?
To make a long story very short I have now doubled and re-doubled my determination to become a REAL Suicide Girl. I will be ACCETED! I will be shooting another set this coming week.
For all those with inquiring minds (wink) I think I just might post a couple of pics from my REJECTED! set just so you can see me a little more clearly (lol)

By the way, the amount of work, or thought, or effort you put in the sets is amazing...writing it all out before? Huh. I just ask somebody to take the pictures...
