well, my girlfriend and i did go to the zoo on thursday like i mentioned in my last entry. it was a super nice day in seattle (90 degrees) and we had a great time. we were very pleased to see the bears were out, the otters were being frisky, and i got to see mountain goats. i love me some mountain goat. yeah so it was really fun and a relaxing way to start the day.
afterward, we went to the rainforest cafe for lunch. gotta stick with the theme, you dig? the little lady had never been before so it was fun to watch her get excited when monkeys got all worked up over the thunder and lightening.
then we shopped downtown for a few hours before heading home. the bon was having a sale and i picked up some new towels (!!!) and i almost broke down and got this fucking rad terry cloth robe but it was $100 and i just couldn't justify it. but goddamn it was THE SHIT! by the time we got back my dogs were barking something awful. we decided that it was time for some grown-up fun so we took care of that. later that night we had an electrical storm so we sat on the porch and watched that before finally calling it a night.
the next day we woke to yet another beautiful day and headed to the pool to swim and lay out for an hour or so. collin stopped by and we headed to his place to play on the boat! it was good times but the sun was being a shit so we didn't stay on the water for too long.
girlie and i left collin's place and headed to best buy so i could return a movie. we got home, watched shrek, did some more grown-up things, then collin came over and the three of us headed to the paragon in queen anne for a lovely evening of drinks, food, and good company.
once we got back to my place, collin took off, girl and i...well...you know. then bed. and that was my weekend.
it was good.
today was my monday. now i'm off work, sitting at my computer (which i will have to format soon
), drinking a pbr with my fan on full blast, and waiting for my clothes to get out of the dryer. (soft towels!!!)
next weekend we'll will be vancouver for a night! it will be good times.
and if you are a White Stripes fan, i'm selling this little guy on ebay.
