Eww, that reminds me of two years ago in SF when my friends decided to use my water bottle to hold that shit. It took me weeks to get rid of all of the gold flakes, not to mention I'm not a fan of alcohol-flavored water. puke

The Delgados sound curiously like a less trippy Mercury Rev........You and Echo there, what a dreamboat.....Have a good night sir! smile

freckle:
irish week festival - where: seattle centre house, when:saturday, sunday and wednesday, what: mostly music and dancing, some documentry movies, little booths where you can buy green stuff

all irish week events - where: all over, when: march 4th - march 17th, what: suttf like soda bread eating, film festival, the parade, a mass for peace, brunches and dinners

good irish bars -
kells (it means well, but it get crowded with bunches of drunken frat boys)

fado (best bet for less rowdy drunks, should have pipers and other good more traditionalish music)

the owl 'n thistle (their house band is suposed to play, and they are really good and really fun, they play every weekend, if she feels like being irish some other time, they have a fiddle, and are kinda like music in real irish bars is like, but not necessarly what americans are thinking of when they want irish music - ie no kilts, bagpipers, or danny boy)

hope that helps biggrin
