I feel bad when I have to let a girl know that I'm not interested. Women just take it too personally. I guess guys are so used to being shot down it doesn't bother them as much. haha
She was beautiful, an actress. she also does some modeling, but I've dated people before just because I thought they were good looking, it always ends up bad. Personally, I like funny girls. If a girl can make me laugh (it doesn't happen often) then that's it. I'm in love. Plus this girl I was with last night said she's only read like, 3 books her entire life! I mean, c'mon..... I need a girl who reads. I may pretend to be a rock n roller but I'm just a book worm at heart.
But yeah, I still feel bad...
That's pretty standard with me though. The girls that I'm just kind of indifferent about really like me, and the girls that I like can't stand me. Oh well, it makes for good songwriting.
Speaking of which....
So apparently a certain big name Publicity person heard some of our music through a friend. My friend asked him what he thought. He said, "who writes the songs?" She said, "the singer" so he said "well, the songs are awesome, if I was him I would just go sell my songs and forget about the band. It's too hard to get a band anywhere these days."
haha, that's funny. I suppose it's a compliment. I am obsessed with hooks, I won't write songs without at least a couple of them. But I couldn't imagine someone else singing my songs.
I guess there is some serious money in that, but I don't do anything for money.
So what's happening this weekend? 3 day weekend right? I'm going to San Francisco. Gonna hang out with some friends, it'll be a party I'm sure.

I feel the same way about girls. If they can't make me laugh or if they can't get my jokes then it's just a waste of bloody time. Music is another factor. If her tastes don't gel with mine she'll get an instant thumbs down. It sounds sorta mean but this stuff is important ,ya know? I make my standards high for a reason...
