yeah i'm PR and co - owner of Deepsend Records. we have an exclusive contract with Century Media Distrobution... which means our shit gets put into their publications and we have worldwide distrobution. It's really a great job... but it's not the only thing i do... just a side thing that has been running for 6 years now... and we are putting out the new SYL on vinyl... which is amazing and we have a few more vinyl limited edition shit wwe will be putting out but i'll keep those hush until they are done.
whew... yeah so um that's me as far as the label goes... but i'll allow it...
my other job is hair stylist and makeup artist.. i have been working on Suicide Girls and in limbo girls for a lil bit so i get my music fix with the label and i get to see hot naked chicks all the time... i'll allow that also

I went to the Punk Nite thing in Dayton briefly--but I reeeally don't do well in social situations. Hell, I went in, walked around the whole place, left, went to my car, drove around, gathered some more balls, went BACK, walked around some more, watched a bit of 1 band, then felt incredibly retarded being there by myself w/ no one to talk to, so I came home.

I'm stupid like that.

I am so glad you understand what I'm talkingabout, and don't think I'm selfish. She didn't really come down to Cincy to specifically hang out w/ me--she had to take her cat to the vet, and her cousin's confirmation is Sunday....but I still felt like a "long lost friend" as you said.

I did go out by myself last night- J. Hall to see the Websters. I felt awkward though, being there by myself. They rock though

I actually LOVE my job. well most of the time, its got its ups and downs, and sometimes I wanna pull my hair out and scream, or beat down someone who'd pissing me off. I tell myself that the a-holes out there are only in my chair for 10-25 min (on average) and I won't have to look at their face again for 3-9 weeks. my staff is usually great too. once again there's ups and downs. (I manage a Salon) my bosses and everyone at the main office are pretty nice. they sent me to Cancun last month becasue I won the "directors award". not a bad company to work for huh?
and getting nice phone calls from clients who are happy make it all worth while. we get them every once in a while. it really makes your day. being the manager they usually ask for me and I get to the phone thinking "uh-oh" then it turns out to be a pleasent surprise when they compliment me or one of the girls.

being the mgr has it dilemas though, I find if I give too much praise, the employee tends to slack off thinking they are invincible and don't need to woo me because I paid them some compliments, and think they are Gods gift. if I only give constructive critism, they think I'm a hard-ass-slave-driving-bitch who doesn't see what a good job they are doing. its all about finding a balance, that whole ying-yang thing.

Drama............ick. Luckily, I've been doing OT on the other shift though, so I haven't had to deal w/ it. I've just been laughing my ass off at all the crazy old women that work on the front half shift! Good times.

hahaha.....now, the problem is, my best friend is coming down from Columbus on Saturday, so I'll probably be hanging out w/ her. And since we're Chrome junkies, if Chrome is in town, we HAVE to go see them! If they're not though, I'll let ya know!
