***warning***this email contains spoiler information about xmen2. i just saw it and it rocked. they're doing a good job with character development and i hope the franchise can last longer than the batman series (which fizzled out into armor nipples and very bad one liners). it made it fun to be a boy that read a lot of comics as i walked out of the movie explaining to my female movie buddy that jean grey didn't really die, she actually becomes phoenix, one of the most powerful mutants ever, soon after her "death". and the girl is professor x's study with the hoopy earrings is jubilee and the girl that moves through walls and floors during the school invasion is kitty pride, who was seen very briefly in xmen 1 walking through the professor's door to retrieve her books while he met with wolverine; whom she has a four shot comic series with in which she and wolvie kinda get it on. samurai style. anyway, i'm talking all this trash as we exit the theater and i hear a lot of other dudes giving the same schpeil to their female counterparts, and were very excited to be doing so.
very dorky. very fun.
one continuity error. in the beginning we see nightcrawler teleport into a locked and guarded oval office, yet later we learn that he can really only teleport to places he's seen before....but he hadn't seen the inside of the oval office before he popped in there.
oh, and the matrix: reloaded looks great, but the hulk looks very weak. if people hated jar jar, wait 'til they get a load of the cgi alter ego of bruce banner
