i was thinking today about how terrorists are just what the big army calls the little army and the upcoming war and blah blah. so as i'm trying to understand the rationale of those so eager to go to war against "terrorism" i tried to define terrorist. so it's someone or a group of people that cause havok and chaos to civilians using barbaric tactics. then i remembered my ol' high school history teacher talking about the revolutionary war and how our tactics were considered barbaric by the mother country, yet cunning and inventive. how the colonists must have looked like a bunch of backwards, third world, inhumane terrorists. for an average u.s. citizen to condone a war is ridiculous. most have no idea of what war can do to a country and it's people. imagine a catastrophy like the twin towers happening daily, or worse: chemical agents, house arrests by foreign troops, total economic collapse, lack of clean and running water, food shortages, contamination, etc. i'm almost more afraid of bush having the bomb than of sadam getting access to nuclear weapons.
and now they've legalized "some" bans on abortion, our government's enviornmental policy is so retarded (dubya don't like that there kaytoe treetee)....i'm really missin' the 90's. I felt really safe watching paker lewis can't loose, while studing for my exam on the science film, "the voyage of the mimi", eating fruit roll ups and drinking shasta (my mom shopped at the piggly wiggly )
