The Sun heats the air so that it gains mass in my lungs, weighting my body down as if drenched or packed with misty loadestones. The newscasters drone on sounding like an adult's muffled gab in a "Peanuts" cartoon as I gaze at my bellicose reflection in the dim screen. It won't turn on, like the air conditioning it is just there to temp me with technology, to dangle the freedoms and priveledges that I take for granted in front of my face. I am besmirched with sweat and heat vapors fighting to be free of my expanded pores, leaving me with an epidermal sensation that I can only describe as...hot.
So with the weather aside, all else is okay. I made the perfect mixed CD again for the perfect girl again. This time, however, I made the perfect CD cover and added the perfect quick note to it, making it an amorous gambit unprecidented in my time. Her eyes welled up with silver tears as she took it from my hands and wrapped her arms around me. It felt good.

and while i owned parachute pants and coveted tab (which i was not allowed to drink) at one time, this donahue was actually in the time of brown curdoroys and yarn bows in my two pony tails. ergh. we's old, babydoll.
