So the big project is over. I found myself dissapointed in the end.. mainly cuz over a month of work and so much investment(time, emotional, and financial) came ot an end and I MISSED MOST OF IT, gah, it only lasted like 12 minutes, and i was too busy making last minute changes that I didn't get to experience half of it... ah well, it went alright.. and now I gotta do my artist's statement on it. Just cuz i gotta get in the right mindset, and because I like talking about the idea.. cuz the idea's the best part, I'm gonna run through it with u guys:
So you start off in a line, hearing the noises of whats to come when u cross through the curtains. I then jump to a podium and in a carny like voice entice you all to enter into "the amazing house of mirrors" upon entering, you find yourself in a room alone with a screen directly infront of you. On this screen is you from profile facing someone, who changes between different people, all enticing you to interact with them, to hug them, to kiss them, to be just overall a loving person, then te not them, and sed u into the next room. In this room you're greeted by the same people, only instead of wearing bright white, they are wearing nothing at all. These people tell u to do all the things your dirty little mind can come up with. And the glory of the live video feed is that you can reach out and do all these things, grab a breast, play with a cock, anything! mwaha... then the glory of it comes when u leave this into the final room. In THAT room there is a bunch of chair sat up, and everyone who experienced this before u is sitting there and u look up to the screen and see the people who are NOW in the rooms. You then sit down and wait for the people in line to go through, as you watch the two people in the seprate rooms on a third screen, only what they think they're doing to the enticers on the screen, they are doing to the person in the other room. You get to watch as one person enters in to the innocence room, and offers loving emotions unto the person in the sex room who just uses and violates them, then they re-emerge on the other side and do the same thing to someone else. All the time thinking they're alone when really everyone who's been through that is watching and knows what's going on. When they emerge, They immwhat kind of image they were portraying to these watching eyes and if what they did was wrong. YAY
Some of the things went wrong in the actual presentation, but pretty much all of those main elements remained intact. It saddens me that that's now in the past, but I think the idea was the strongest part and I wanted to share it with all of you so it wasn't ocmpletely dead yet. Now it's time to go into much deeper meaning for my artists' statement..
oh yeah, and in much cuter news, I got myself a new little kitty! My friends sister found him under her car's hood with his whiskers burnt off and without a home cuz he's only a couple weeks old, so we took him in, his names Chaplin, but I call him ChaRlie... and in an unrelated topic, I'm also just now recovering from one the most bonding moments I've ever had... it feels good. Now work! WORK
