Monthly update.
My friend Bradley and I went to Atlanta on the 21st to see Team Sleep (also saw a guy I was stationed with in Iraq at the Show)! They kicked fuckin ass! Instead of singing during King Diamond, Chino reenacted the rap scene from Revenge of the Nerds. They got the biggest pop when they played Natalie Portman. After the show was over I went behind the building and got to get some autographs from Chino, Todd Wilkinson, and Rick Verrett. I told Todd that I was hoping they would have played Kool-Aid Party. Found out from him that it is going to be released as a b-side. Speaking of b-sides, before the show I found out that one of that there will actually be two deftones albums released this year, and that one of them will be nothing but there b-sides.
After that we went back to the hotel (right across the street from the crane that dude climbed up) and in my drunken stupor tried getting Chinos cell phone # from information. We were drunk off our asses and wanted to invite Chino and co. out to go bar hoping. I unsuccessfully tried to spell Chinos real name (Camillo) out to the operator. Bradley told me that I looked at my pack of cigarettes and spelled out parliament before asking her if she wanted to donate to the make a wish foundation.
Bradley and I drove up again on the 24th with another friend Clayton. Saw Dredg play. As always they fuckin rocked. They played Of the Room! Didnt play Whoa is me though. I got my Dredg shirt signed by everyone except for Dino, Clayton got hit on by the guitarist for the opening band, and Bradley got props on his beard Drew (Dredgs Bassist). We went bridge climbing and dumpster diving after the show then passed out.
Back to drinking now. I'm not an alcoholic.
