I guess it's about time to update. Not too much has been happening lately. Had drill the day after my last entry. It was an easy field drill just like the one I had in Feb. Once again the battalion did not have any rounds so the forward observers and myself (I'm their radio operator) had it pretty easy. As always, I hear some of the most fucked up things at drill, but that's what happens when you have a bunch of jarheads out in the field. One of the best quotes I got from this drill was from a crazy ass sgt. He told us that his favorite type of porn was the kind were after you got through busting one you wanted to fuckin puke . This is the same guy who in the past has said that sometimes he would rather spank it than get some.

While at drill I was talking to one of my friends who went to field radio operators course with me out in 29 Palms CA. He told me about some sad shit that happened to one of our active duty classmates who was stationed out in Camp Pendleton CA. She was murdered recently. Her boyfriend fuckin drowned her in a tub. I was not really close to her, but I had talked to her enough to know she was cool as fuck. Everybody in our class liked the girl. We all called her Woody. Don't know exactly how she got the name but I think it had to do with us always fuckin around with her about having the biggest dick on base. It's still kind of a shock to me. I've known plenty of people who have died, but nobody that was murdered. Fuck the death penalty for this guy, that's the easy way out. The son of a bitch needs to suffer for what he did. His actions did not just affect her life. Plenty of other people were hurt because of what he did. He took somebody's child and another persons friend away from them. I hope the asshole gets life in a 6X9 with pictures of her hung up on the wall. Maybe they could start out with her in her youth, through in a boot camp graduation pic, and the final one could be of her dead body in the tub. This motherfucker needs to be haunted with her image for the rest of his pathetic life. Sad shit.

Now to get this entry onto a non-depressing note, I have decided to cut my hours at school next fall. I'm doing 13 hours and working full time, which is pretty tough. Going to cut back to 9 hours. Hopefully that and possibly getting an apartment in the city will make things easier..
