Fabulous Art show this Thursday. It was the kind of thing I haven't seen in town for a while and it was inspiring. Not only was the art inspiring but the event was too. The art was shown in side a small house/store but the action was out front in the parking lot complete with projected animations, hot rods, a red fur lined airstream, and a fire show. Bunches of cool people, too. It appears our temptess was there as well even though I din't have the pleasure of bumping in to her. Looking forward to her art opening (hint) She's got some great work on her page. Check it.
Unfortunately all of that wonderfulness was overshadowed by the death of a good friend on Fri. Ahhh the vicissitudes of life. Francis Mitchell was 78 and he died as beautifully as he lived. He went down at 11Am on Fri and was pronounced dead at 6PM. Thanks for sparing us any long drawn out ordeal Francis. Francis served with Patton in the 3rd Army during WWII and went on to be a writer, political activist, bon vivant, renegade, vagabond. He drove for MLK during the civil rights movement and was a founding member of Libre, a commune in Colorado that is still going strong after 35 years. We were fortunate enough to have him here with his son Tony for the last three weeks. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Pass the tequila.

I don't know what last email you misread. Refresh my memory?
The whole misread thing is not worth rehashing but for the sake of clarity I will publicly embarass myself once again.
I sent you an email inviting you to the art show on Haley.
You responded saying that you were actually at the show, but some how I read it is a though you thought I was trying to fuck with you so I got all defensive. But then a couple days later I reread it and it occured to me that you were just saying how peculiar it was that I invited you to an event that you were at. That is why I am a dork.
