Well the course was great!!!! biggrin Lerarn't alot about various heat treatments, welding, frame prep, cutting and facing etc. The next one is stripping down hubs and gear systems, finishing in September with a DT Swiss wheelbuilding course.

Saturday i remembered why i have to write everything down so i don't forget!!!! I miscalculated the days of my course and Wasted eeek So after planning Wasted since last November i'll now not be going frown I have got other gigs in planning and i can use the spare cash i now have for the rest of my left sleeve.Every cloud has a silver lining.I'm dreaming of clouds at the mo,cause it's to stuffy and i want a storm biggrin

The gigs planned so far are Sonic Boom Six,The Cult,Anti Nowhere League and the Levellers.

Gradually getting the hang of the new layout yay!!!! Go away for a week and it all changes!!!

Today i've been mostly listening to Wolfmother!

Hope your all well? Much loveto you

kiss

That's a common misconception that the Levellers = Levellers 5, but alas it is not true. Levellers 5 were punk, Levellers were, like you said, folky. Peel played both bands I think.

So, I don't get it; you're doing a ST Swiss course, but they aren't providing you with the materials? That's kind of rude. Hmmm...from what I've read the carbon fiber is reeeeeeaaallly delicate and moody to build up. My memory is failing me at the moment, but I think i recall reading about a batch of frames - don't recall the factory - that all were welded too hot or something, and all came out cracked. Barely perceptible until the failures. I'm not really on the whole carbon fibre as the whole frame bandwagon. Seems to be $$ over function.

I'm sure the ride would be smooth as silk. i gotta work on my endurance wink :blush smile

aww i love london. it was the first big city i ever went to that i thought i could live in, if it weren't so expensive!

i love old churches and cathedrals; i love the art and especially the gothic architecture and stained glass. i have a few pictures of them from london, but there are so many in other places that i want to see too. i got so jealous of my sister when she saw the florence cathedral this spring, but at least she took pictures for me.
