Thanks for the comments. The thing that angers me about my father being laid-off is that he's been there 14 years. He was two years away from retirement. Now, they eliminated his position, so there won't be anyone replacing him, yet he has enough paid time off to last him until about April of next year. I mean, how much money are they really saving? How much of a raise is the big boss gonna get for eliminating 35 or so management jobs?

Oh and that gay-marriage amendment unfortunately passed with flying colors. Way to go people. Ban something that's already illegal
