YOU CANNOT BE HER FRIEND RIGHT NOW. if you want this to end, you cannot be her source of comfort. she's going to feel rejected, you're going to feel bloody awful, but you simply cannot be her go-to person if you are breaking up. maybe in time you guys can have a healthy 'friends' relationship, but that is 6 months in the future. nasty, i know. good luck to you both
