Another great day here in Chicago. We havent had a rainy day in weeks it seems. (NOT COMPLAINING!)
Well, I officially quit drinking as of wednesday. This was something I had tossed back in forth for a few weeks, and finally I got sick of the decisions I was making while intoxicated. So here we are, and the weekend is here. I know im gonna have some inner struggles with this, however its something I know I want in my life. My sobriety, Im just far more focused and clear headed when Im not drinking. Im talking about as a whole, not only when partying. There is so much on the table right now, and some other struggles Im attempting to conquer, just no need for it any longer. Im confident this is a good decision.
In general, like most of us, Im quite content with everything in my life.
However, I have got to get my ass outside and fix my car. Replace the brake master cylinder, and replace all the brake system to one of my wheels. Aren't cars fun? Luckily its nice out.
Busy weekend ahead.
Actually Im gonna throw this out to everyone, Im confident in what my choice will be, but none the less I am gonna ask this to see what everyone thinks:
So Ive been dating/talking to this girl for a few months... everything is just about there minus a few things. A) she lives a ways a way. 2 hours, but was suppose to transfer to Chicago sometime in the next year. B.) she is a surgical assistant and works a ton of hours. C.) We hardly get to see each other
Everything else is great, we communicate well, the lovin is damn good when we do see each other, and we have alot of fun together. But, we havent seen one another in 3 weeks. Dont know about this weekend either. Weekdays dont work. We talk everyday. But you cant really date when you never see each other.
I had a girl who I was head over heals for get in touch with me in the last week. We talked for 3 hours, and we both are still very much into each other. I never stopped thinkin about her. We stopped dating because of schedules. However, now, I see that what we had wasnt all that bad considering we wouldnt ever go past 2 weeks without seein each other.
I know what Im gonna do. But Im curious what some of you would do in this situation.

Distance can easily be overcome in any relationship. My wife lived in mass, and I lived on the beach in ct while we dated.
