PS If you remote lock your iPhone using the MobileMe tracker it locks the phone to your computer that you sync your iPhone to.

I had a stolen iPhone 3G once that a friend of mine snatched from her physically abusive ex-boyfriend (after he threw it at her head) and left at my house. I wrapped it in 10 layers of aluminum foil and then hid it in the bottom drawer of a cabinet for a month before I even touched it.
