so i think my membership expires soon. i'm not going to bother renewing. overall, i've had my fun with this site and it's time to move on.
i first joined at the end of 2004 and SG was much different then. you could talk to other SGs like they were any other member. now it's different and i only know of a few like that. those are on my friends list. i'm sure there's others. the thing that bothers me is with memebr review, you have SGs and hopefuls who send you friend requests because they have a set in MR or they only talk to you when they have a set in MR. so SG kind of feels like an online strip club where you're getting pestered by girls who only want to talk to you because it's in their financial interest.
i'd have to say, this site has also become somewhat of a cult of personality/rockstar worship. and people know this. i've met girls, i even briefly dated one girl who lied and told me she used to be a suicide girl. i knew she was lieing and she got mad at me when i kept trying to talk to her about SG. like how stewie talks to brian about his novel. haha
some girls are legitimate models who work hard to become models, others shoot mediocre sets of themselves drinking booze in their backyards and people hail them as"strong, talented, beautiful women" and "brilliant artists." so that's something i get tired of.
anyways, no point in sticking around here if i'm losing interest in the site.
i'm on myspace, youtube, and everything else... i've even got an orkut profile that never gets used. get in touch if you want. i still love to chat.
