RIP Joey Bishop. 2/3/1918 - 10/17/2007
The last member of the Rat Pack is dead.
One time when Joey was doing a show in Vegas, there was this big commotion. A bunch of guys brought in a table and chairs right in front of the stage. Marilyn Monroe was escorted to the table and sat down right in front. It distracted the whole audience and Joey Bishop looked right at Marilyn and said "I thought I told you to wait in the car." That was Joey Bishop's famous line.
He was later kicked out of the Rat Pack because of something he said that pissed off Frank Sinatra. There's even rumors that Ol' Blue eyes smacked him around backstage. Poor Joey.
Born in the Bronx, Raised in South Philadelphia, and died in Newport Beach, CA
