i did another jiu-jitsu tournament this past weekend. i did better than i expected to. i took 3rd place in a division above the one i normally compete in. i also took 3rd in the light heavyweight whitebelt division. they screwed that one up though. i should have fought with the heavyweights, but for some reason, they put me with the light heavyweugts. there isn't much difference though. the light heavyweight division is like 175-200 lbs and heavyweight was 200+. so at 216 or 220 i've fought guys who were 260 lbs in that division and still placed. i fought the bigger light heavyweights then i forfeitted a match to a guy who was on my own team. we're not supposed to compete against teammates, but they kept lining them up that way.

the woman came and watched, then we went to boston and vermont in the same night. all and all, it was a great weekend.
