so it's journal time again....
i was just in philly for about 5 days. whew! what a vacation. ... i don't know where to begin.
well i went down to visit some friends and i had the pleasure of finally meeting haden (formerly brighton) and working out with her at her gym. We had a good workout, i think it went for more than 2 and 1/2 hours. First off, it's always exciting to meet people from the site, and it was especially fun meeting haden because she's awesome. she knows a lot about working out, she showed me some stuff and answered questions that i had. she's got a great personality, she's funny, and she's hot! we were laughing about how at her gym the most annoying people are hoity-toity rich women who come to play tennis and attend aerobics classes, while the most annoying people at my gym are the blonde sorority girl types with fake tans. i think that was the most fun i've had at the gym in a long time...at least since my buddy punkrock pat stopped working out.
but then again, PRP isn't as pretty to look at either.
well, things were going fine, and i thought i might have had some game on haden, but i mentioned that i was the owner of the DATING SUCKS! group and then everything just went downhill from there....haha, just kidding. don't take that last part seriously. 
but anyways....
i went to my friend emma's art show. it was a show at a house with all these weird U of Arts kids there, and then emma's sister erin, her boyfriend baloo, and baloo's roommate cody all showed up drunk and we had fun being obnoxious together. it was really a breath of fresh aor because even though emma is a dear friend, i'm just out of my element with the art school crowd. there was one of those bands that brought a bunch of trash in and just sort of made noise on it.... that kind of thing... you know?
saturday night i went o my first BDSM party, met some wonderful new people and i discovered that i like being electrocuted.
...and i've registered to compete in the North American Grappling Alliance world championships in Jersey city on 3/11. novice, heavyweight division! i will be competeing in both gi and no gi style tourneys.
it's my first tourney, so wish me luck!
oh, and i still have more pictures and stories from brazil, but you'll just have to wait.
