first day of the weight loss challenge. i set a goal of 28 pounds. 2 pounds a week. if i hit that goal, i'll get paid something like $70. if i can come in first in the individual class, i get $250. it goes by percentage lost, not just pounds. should be interesting.

went to the gym tonight for the first time in WAY TOO DAMN LONG. spent most of my time on the treadmill. 20 minutes on, little over a mile. hit a few weights, then back on the treadmill for about 30 minutes. didn't push hard at all. probably take it kind of easy this first week then start pushing hard.

i start eating and drinking very different once i wake too. got alot of juice. gonna try to limit myself on how much i drink at a time. also got alot of chicken breast & soups. gonna bake some chicken tomorrow. got a kick ass recipe. basically some salsa and some honey mustard salad dressing in aluminum foil with the chicken. bake at 350 for who knows how long. i'm not good with time. it was awesome last time i made it. gonna actually start measuring out what i put in there. figuring up some calorie intake. gonna make 3 pieces. 1 for lunch. the other 2 for work. see how this goes.

thanks. i'll probably try the elliptical tonight. they're better on my joints, but i like treadmills cause they make me keep a pace. i'm planning on eating a lot of chicken. baked or grilled. got a few recipes that i like.

i never looked at the contents of juice till now. sugars and calories are just as much as the pop. ridiculous. but i need the juice just to get some vitamins. i'm not big on fruits and/or vegetables. i probably will get some potatoes, probably red, and bake them too.

by the end of the month i plan on doin about 5 miles a day via treadmill or elliptical. i'm going to keep the weights light but will focus on arms and mid section.
