first day of the weight loss challenge. i set a goal of 28 pounds. 2 pounds a week. if i hit that goal, i'll get paid something like $70. if i can come in first in the individual class, i get $250. it goes by percentage lost, not just pounds. should be interesting.

thanks. i'll probably try the elliptical tonight. they're better on my joints, but i like treadmills cause they make me keep a pace. i'm planning on eating a lot of chicken. baked or grilled. got a few recipes that i like.
i never looked at the contents of juice till now. sugars and calories are just as much as the pop. ridiculous. but i need the juice just to get some vitamins. i'm not big on fruits and/or vegetables. i probably will get some potatoes, probably red, and bake them too.
by the end of the month i plan on doin about 5 miles a day via treadmill or elliptical. i'm going to keep the weights light but will focus on arms and mid section.

Good job with the weight loss! Weekly exercise is definitely helpful. I've lost about 80lbs over the last year or so. I haven't even been trying over the last months cuz life has thrown a whole lot of crap at me. I do plan on getting back on track soon, though. Should be good hopefully!
