A few things have happened lately.
A couple of weeks ago, I cashed in two of my IRAs, with the goal of getting out of creditcard debt. Maybe even cancelling some of them. I know, cancelling creditcards lowers my credit score, but at my age, I really don't much care. I'm not going to be applying for a home loan anytime soon, anyway.
I got out from under my two Discover cards, I've got a handle on my bank's debit/credit card, and I'm gonna have to cash in most of my third IRA to handle the Bank of America card. Have you noticed, none of the banks have issued a public "Thank You" for the bailout from us taxpayers? Assholes.
Anyway, I had some money left over, so last week, I bought a Wii system and a few games. Just that will probably keep me busy all winter. This week Wednesday, I matched 5 of 6 numbers in the Supercash game and won $500.00. I gave half to my roomie, 'cos she owns the house we live in, she's recently retired, and I figured it'd be really good karma for me to do so. I took my half back to the store and bought a few articles of clothing and a balance board for the Wii and another nunchuck, I think it's called, for the second controller I bought the first time around. I looked at the other games at the store, but couldn't decide on any. Come on, winter! I'm ready!!
