awesome news to hear today that the australian government announced harsher penalties for fighting and king hits causing injury or death while intoxicated in public areas. Minimum jail term of 8 years awaits cowards or heros looking to punch on instead of having a few beers and a laugh with mates and calling it a night. The whole mentality of these wankers is crazy and glad something was done after public outcry and mourning families of victims.

Having been on the receiving end of a "king hit" or more appropriately named a cowards punch, l wholeheartedly agree with the new penalties, l never saw it coming and the first l knew what had happened was when l woke in hospital, we have to change the culture through education and serious penalties..
