Happy Holidays! (yes i don't mind being PC)
hmmm, so yeah, my family celebrates xmas and stuff and it went just fine.
the big thing for me was upgrading my iPod. something i had been meaning to do for a while. my original iPod was the second generation with the touch wheel but still had the four buttons around the wheel. it held 10 GB of music. my collection is over !5 GB big. obvious problem. so my parents figured it'd be cool to help me get a new one. they offered to get me the stock standard 40 GB. since i have a university job and thus get a little money from time to time, i decided to go one step further, and i got the iPod photo 40 GB. so, happiness. unfortunately, it wasn't a surprise i guess. i like them sometimes, surprises. but on the plus side, i've gotten to use it already for over a month. i'm a mac user by the way, in case i didn't make that clear earlier, or something. not that i don't have a pc i build laying around here somewhere. mostly for a few games. moving on.
the iPod was meant to be my only real present. which i'm perfectly cool with. my paychecks has slowly brought me up to spec to play Half-Life 2 and others, so i can't say i really wanted anything else.
but to make a long story short, which i'll post about later, i also got a used 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
but that's another story, for another night.
