waiting for my girlfriend to get home from the dr. she's had kidney problems---bacterial infections---and other maladies (compromised immune system) all goddamn summer. she's supposed to be finished with all her treatments today; we've planned on fucking tonite, something she hasn't been allowed to do for months (we cheated a couple times.)
I gotta get off the drink, and soon get a job. the job part is key; sobering up isn't completely necessary.
I don't want to work another shit job---subway, white hen---any customer service shit. My faith in people continues to decline and my rage grows ever so murderous. la la la la la.
Special ed jobs are hard to come by. Despite the fact that autism is BOOMING as an epidemic, special ed jobs keep getting slashed by the bushel...buy the Bush-hole---along with anything else that could help those in need of help. I worked with autistic kids once---best job, and best summer ever (til 9/11 came and spoiled it.)
seems to be a lot of writing jobs I may be able to land around Chicago. That'd be nice, to get paid to write. I've been doing it for free for so long (although, mainly for me.)
This is my first non-myspace blog. I have no friends on SG. I'm not sure what the use is.
Should I look for friends?
For now, it's open to anyone.
I'm reading Daniel Alarcon's short story collection. It's raucous, and I think I have a man-crush on him.
