There are the typical disenchanting things like work, lack of social life, getting out of shape and things of that sort... but generally speaking, life is good.
At some point over lunch, the g/f and I discussed the possibility of moving closer to town/work. This, of course, was prompted by one of the many letters we seem to get wedged into our front door from time to time. Violators that we are, we have had a gas grill on our balcony for over a year and we JUST get a note reminding us of the stipulation set forth in our lease agreement that forbids us having one. While I can totally respect the fact that there are rules for our safety, I'm frankly tired of being limited to what we can do or what we can't keep on our premises... and so a preliminary search for a new place begins.
In other news, the job search continues as two other companies have foregone the pleasure of MY company. I'd like to believe it's for the better and that the job market is turning around for the better but for the moment it just doesn't seems like it's in my direction. The resume gets tweaked and upgraded and more colorful as the days pass, not to say that I'm fabricating anything so much as I'm refining the descriptive quality of my abilities.
And despite the holidays, I haven't really recharged my batteries, so to speak. I could use a veritable day off or seven of them to get back at what sanity I have left. I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

my Lola gave birth 7 of them... 7 little puppies... i almost go crazy!!!

i'm doing it... i already give three of the pups away.. it was sad but they are with their new families.. so it's kind of a sad hapinness for me.. but... that's life
