Clueless is the perfect word to describe most people. I see many examples of this phenomenon everywhere that I go. Yesterday, I witnessed another example.

I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring the very much not clueless Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Christopher Lee. The film was directed by the ever so surreal and visual director Tim Burton. Needless to say, the movie was very well made. However, it would be nice for Burton to make a movie that doesn't resemble Edward Scissorhands.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory is essentially the same story depicted in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with some alterations of which I can't honestly say might be more in touch with the original story in the book by Roald Dahl, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". This movie version is darker and more synical than the last rendition. I can't blow the ending or ruin the story for you because if you don't know the story already, you suck.

The story, underneath it all, is one of sin and satire. The glutton, the proud, the greedy, the angry, (the sloth being Willy Wonka) all lose out to the humble young boy with a big heart and a greater love for his family. Although wrapped up in a children's story, I believe is more appropriately directed to the parents; to those parents who spoil there children, who misguide them and who do not discipline them.

So back to the clueless, I saw this movie in a movie theater full of spoiled rich kids. "well, how do you know they were spoiled?" I know from the area and all the pink polo shirts with popped up collars and frilled skirts. These kids are spoiled, yet they laughed at all the jokes and scenes created to make fun of their own cluelessness. There definately were some scenes that I found funnier than most of the people in the audience.

I personnally take it to heart when the point of an author or artist is not understood by the masses once it finally is visible by all. It makes me sad and disillusioned as a writer. But, if it weren't for the clueless you wouldn't get such great sardonic books and films like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

...That was a very good movie critic...now i will put attention in another details when i go to watch it... I do like Tim Burton movie, bue escentially by the way he makes stories...it's hard to take them seriously and that gives them a different focus. Besides the escenaries and colors...and etc Make the whole thing a living dream-nightmare.

Hey!!!...It seems im getting a new tattoo tomorrow ^^.

Nice...small stupid things make me happy.

Btw...how are you today??

Take care sweety kiss
