Am I wrong to believe that a man should look like a man and a woman like woman....that there is nothing wrong with feminity and masculinity and that there is an increasing lack of the two?

We have programmed ourselves with this ideology of self-efficiency and independance and have lost touch with the finer things that make us men and women different. Men are not being what they should be, providers and protectors and women arent being the caregivers and souls of relationships.

I'm not saying that we should regress and eradicate women's rights, I'm saying that men and women should be proud of the social differences that make our genders unique past the physical level. Thats all

see, that's just it. nothing about what you're describing is "human culture." go to other parts of the world and you'll find that "traditions" don't even remotely resemble the "masculine" ideals that you've described. in order for something to be "human culture" it's got to be recognized in every culture around the world, otherwise it's just a cultural construct.

so what you really want out of the world is for people to revert to (or maintain) an old cultural tradition. but, in reality, the culture you live in is a fluid thing that's going to keep morphing and changing. gender roles being a huge part of it all.

if you want to keep those traditions in the world, the only thing you can do to make it happen is to embody them yourself. you can't (or expect to) change anyone else. you'll only end up frustrated, which, i believe, is where you're at now. you can certainly keep your traditions, and pass them down thru your lineage. it's the only way they'll survive, really.
