This weekend I have been busy at my allotment where I grow a lot of the fruits and vegetables I consume, I have been doing this now for about nine years. Although I love it, I dont have a lot of time for it (due to working long hours) which means it always looks over grown with weeds and the list of jobs that need doing gets longer instead of sorter
Today I have been clearing some land that has been covered for a year; my plan is to plant sweet corn there. In the process of removing the tarpaulin covering that I used, I found a few wild animals that needed re-homing, these included about 20 slow worms, some lizards and a frog.

The only other thing that I have done this weekend is to watch an indie film on a house boat; the film was called The age of stupid. Its an environmental filmshocking, but fucking good!
