Yesterday I drove myself the 300 km north to Edmonton to join carla, pearlygirl and FreakPirate in a hair dyeing adventure! I arrived at 3:30 p.m. and played some Guitar Hero with FreakPirate. Then carla arrived and the adventures in colour began! She helped me decide on a combination of colours that I can only describe as "pretty". Seriously, it's all spring appropriate. Then, the dye went in and the waiting began.

Carla had to go to a meeting for a bit so FreakPirate and I had to entertain ourselves until she returned with pearlygirl! Whom we then convince to partake in the hair fun.

After applying all the dye, we waited around for awhile, had some tasty Thai food, and then decided to head out to karaoke. Carla and pearlygirl left the dye in their hair, but FreakPirate and I rinsed ours out first.

Karaoke was fun. Once again, I forgot to bring my camera out. So you'll just have to imagine the fun. I even sang at the end of the night! I blame the free shooters that were handed out. And the girl in tight shiny pants who kept dirty dancing with her friend. I was inspired to sing the Divinyls with carla, in hopes that they would come dance with us. They did. There was much inappropriate dancing... although I'm sure the guys who were still there at the end of the night deemed the dancing very appropriate.

Then, back to crash at FreakPirate's house. On a very small bed.

Then it was time for me to drive back home. Tonight I reshaved the side and back bits of my head.

The trip was totally worth it, even though I wasn't even there for 24 hours. I'll be going for a longer visit in a bit over a week so I should have more tales and pictures then.
