This weekend was filled with fun. On Friday danny_g and I braved the snow covered roads to travel up to Edmonton to take part in the Apocalypse Kow Christmas show. After the show, we were kidnapped by carla and taken to a fabulous house party. I met some of the awesome Edmonton SG folk (all of them were wonderful hosts). I discovered that JD and diet A&W root beer is not only a viable beverage choice, but quite delicious as well. 
As for the party, there was guitar hero and jello shooters and cuddles and other assorted awesomeness.
I managed to win when I played Smash Brothers Melee. I may have done a victory dance.
I think I have convinced danny_g that we should head up to Edmonton on the 30th to visit again. Fun!
On Saturday I dyed my hair a dark purply-blue in the afternoon and then I attended a Christmas party in the evening. This one had one of those gift exchanges where people can steal presents instead of opening one. I ended up with the "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" dvd. Which is exactly what I was hoping to get.
Tonight I played some games with friends and then sat around and chatted for a while. I won't see some of them for a while, so it was nice to catch up a bit tonight.
I'm having breakfast with some of my family that will be in the city tomorrow. I should probably figure out where we should go.

And Happy belated birthday! Hope it was fun. I really don't like the new birthday system on here, I never check it, and I think a lot of people think their friends hate them because of it.
