My mom was in the city yesterday and today for "productivity training" or some other bullshit "rah rah, let's get our customers to use more of the bank's services". Anywho, we went out for dinner last night. I took her to this fun little vegetarian restaurant. She really liked it. She doesn't really get to go for a wide variety of food back home in Drumheller. My dad and brother came to pick her up today. They got here a bit early so I played Guitar Hero with my brother for a while. I finally convinced him to play on easy after totally destroying him on the medium setting for a few songs.
After they headed home, I took Indy for a run. Yesterday we went for 6 miles and today 5, so he's nice and worn out now.

I got a haircut on Tuesday. The last few times I cut my hair I just had Lord H do it for me. I was just sick of going to a hairdresser, explaining what I wanted (even bringing pictures), and then having them give me something completely different. Lord H was getting a haircut on Tuesday, though, so I decided to go with him and maybe get something done if another appointment was available. I figured if I hated it, I could just cut it all off. Turns out I could get in so I gave the guy a bit of an idea of what I would like and pretty much let him do whatever. I just wanted it to be easy and fun. Turned out pretty good actually. If I had a digital camera I would post a pic. I might dye it. Colour suggestions?

So far tonight, I've done some laundry and some relaxing. Currently, I'm browsing through my cookbooks and trying to decide what all I'm going to make for my holiday baking gifts. I'm more excited about the holiday season than I've been for the past few years. I'm not really sure why. I'm even excited about my birthday coming up.

I want to go out dancing or to karaoke in the near future.
I want to magically be proficient at using the stupid orange button.
I want to play some sort of drinking game based on Guitar Hero.
I want to watch more "Spaced".
I want to watch all of Star Wars.
I want to find an exciting race to train for.
I want to be acting again.

Candy corn looks like it should taste way better than it really does. I don't know why I just thought of that.
