Wow, that's a pretty gory costume for a 10 year old!
My friend's daughter made her own gory costume when she was 8 or 9 (with help from her mom), she had this long black dress and white face with black all round her eyes and a knife in her skull with blood dripping down her face (she looked awesome). Small kids were avoiding her, and we kept trying to get her to say "do you have an asprin, my head is killing me" when people answered the door, but she wouldn't go for it.

I've never been to Disneyland. I feel left out. I hear there are excellent rollercoasters there.

And yup, audition is a go.
