It's almost my birthday. I'm quite excited. My sister is coming up for it, and we are gonna go out and get our drink on.

Things have been good lately. I've been making some personal progress that I think is vital to my survival. Plus, I finally realized the other day...I'm truley happy being single right now. Yes, i'm lonely, and all that jazz, but at the same time I don't have to deal with the drama that comes along. And like I said, i've been trying to work on myself, and thats really what I want to focus on right now. I want to deal with my mess before I bring anyone else into the equation. I am trying to enjoy my freedom, and when the time is right, it will happen. I'm not going to frett and worry about it, all that does is waste my energy on something that in all reality I have no control over.

I get to go see Ani Difranco on monday, and this weekend is going to be spent at the coast with the fam. All in all it's going to be the break that I need. I have been going full time lately and I am starting to run on empty. Last weekend was a stressful and busy one, and i'm ready to just be able to go out and celebrate my 21st with those that I really care about and who are good people to have in my life, and get away for the weekend and have the chance to just relax, and see my family, who I haven't gotten to see in awhile.
